Job Description

Titmouse is seeking a Benefits Administrator to join their team in Burbank, CA. This full-time, hourly role requires 2-4 years of HR experience, with a preference for experience in benefits administration. Responsibilities include communicating with employees regarding health insurance and 401k enrollment, administering the benefits portal, tracking elections, running reports, handling 401k forms, reconciling benefits bills, updating HRIS information, answering employee questions, participating in new hire orientations, sending employee notices, and tracking company trainings. The position is currently hybrid, requiring three days a week onsite in Burbank and Hollywood.
Must have:
  • 2-4 years HR experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suite
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Communicate with employees and assist them with enrolling in health insurance and 401k
    • Take the lead with administering our benefits portal (new enrollments, rehires, terms, etc.)
    • Track elections and follow up as needed during Open Enrollment
    • Run reports and track benefits enrollment
    • Handle and track 401k acknowledgement forms
    • Send benefits form needed for proper deductions
    • 401k weekly updates report
    • Reconcile benefits bill
    • Update information in HRIS as needed
    • Answer general questions from employees
    • Participate in orientations for new hires
    • Send notices to employees as needed
    • Send and track required company trainings

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES

    • At least 2-4 years' prior experience in HR (extra points for experience in benefits administration!)
    • Motivation to learn all about Human Resources and benefits
    • The ability to multi-task and prioritize
    • Professional and positive communication style
    • Basic competency with Microsoft Office programs (especially Word and Excel) and Google Suite
    • You are so organized others marvel at your methods
    • You have a positive and enthusiastic way about you and you love helping people
Location: We are currently on a hybrid working schedule, though this is not guaranteed in the future. This position requires onsite attendance three days per week right now: Wednesdays in Burbank and Thursdays and Fridays in Hollywood. (The specific schedule is coordinated with the team to ensure consistent onsite presence five days a week at both locations.)
Work Type: Full-time, hourly (non-exempt)
Reporting to: Senior HR Manager
