The company's medical video games run on phones, tablets, and web browsers, and are played by over 1 Million healthcare professionals. Our latest cloud-gaming platform allows multiple users to diagnose or treat a virtual patient collaboratively over video-conferencing platforms like Zoom. Top 20 pharmaceutical and medical device companies (including J&J, Amgen, Philips, Baxter, and many others), national medical societies, and government organizations such as NASA leverage Level Ex's acclaimed platform for HCP education and training.

We're now looking for a Biomedical Solutions Specialist - Intern to support our Medical Team's work, starting in late September on a 3-month contract, working up to 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Review and categorize medical content across diseases, conditions, procedures, and other interventions.
  • Conduct research in conjunction with the lead biomedical solutions specialist on a product or specialty to align with company goals and objectives.
  • Track active and future research projects with leads and actively participate in external and internal facing discussions when needed.
  • Work with a team of physician advisors, clinical, and content experts to gather ongoing medical information for product and/or specialty research.
  • Attend internal medical meetings and readily update teams on ongoing projects.
  • Other research-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, along with completion of or current enrollment in an advanced healthcare-related degree, such as a PhD, MD, DO, NP, MPPA, or PA.
  • Minimum of at least 1+ years of the relevant job or college experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven communication skills with experience communicating with clinicians and internal teams in multiple disciplines.
  • Analytical problem solver and able to alert leadership of issues where appropriate.
  • Conduct literature reviews with the ability to decipher complex clinical information in layman’s terms. 
  • Literature search abilities.
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills, preferably from a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience using Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Clinical experience or experience in clinical research preferred.
  • Experience with curriculum design and educational objective development.

Rate

  • This position pays between $20 to $25 an hour, based on the individual's experience and qualifications, for a 3-month contract (with some potential for renewal).
