Job Description

Tesla is seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician (Panel Beater) to join its innovative Body Repair Program in Eagle Farm. Responsibilities include performing structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Model S, 3, X, and Y vehicles, utilizing cutting-edge tools and eco-friendly processes. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in automotive collision repair, proficiency in MIG welding, and experience with Celette frame jigs. The role requires adherence to Tesla's specific repair procedures, working as part of a team, and maintaining neat and organized work habits. This is a full-time position offering competitive hourly pay ($40-$55) plus Tesla equity.

Must Have:
  • 3+ years automotive collision repair experience
  • Proficient in MIG welding

What You’ll Do
  • Perform Structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Models S, 3, X & Y vehicles in accordance with Tesla-specific Repair procedures
  • Use Celette Frame Jigs for setting New Structural Components 
  • Glue, Rivet, and Weld structural components being replaced 
  • Repair exterior cosmetic panels via Metal Finishing and body filler 
  • Replace all parts associated with collision repair including body panels, suspension parts, vehicle structure, Radiators, Airbags and Trim 
  • Proficient in MIG Welding 
  • Follow Standards and work in Teams
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years’ experience as an automotive collision repair Technician
  • Excellent attitude and enjoys working with others in teams 
  • Neat and organized work habits 
  • I-CAR Australia Welding certification is a plus 
  • Certificate in Collision Repair and maintenance is a plus 
  • Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record 
  • Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedure

This position requires a minimum 38 hours per week. $40 - $55ph based on experience + Tesla equity!
