Job Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a dynamic Brand Manager with a strong background in brand strategy, product marketing, or live service marketing to join the EA Entertainment team. This role involves collaborating with studios to implement foundational brand/marketing strategies for new live service titles, specifically Skate. Responsibilities include assisting the Brand Director with season positioning, product features, content, and experiences, leading quarterly planning, supporting campaign development, and leveraging consumer insights and market trends to inform brand strategies.
Must Have:
  • Assist Brand Director on season positioning, product features, content, and experiences.
  • Kickoff quarterly planning for seasons and execute campaign strategies.
  • Support creative teams in campaign development.
  • Connect product and competitive marketing analysis to inform brand strategies.
  • Partner with consumer insights for actionable strategies.
  • Experience in brand management, brand strategy, or product marketing.
  • Solid business, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management and coordination across teams and external partners.
  • Experience building and implementing marketing strategies and tactical plans.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience taking a product or service from consumer insight to market.
  • Experience with live service games.

EA is looking for a dynamic Brand Manager with achievement in brand strategy, product marketing or live service marketing. You should excel at marrying science and creativity to delight customers and partners, working with cross-functional teams to support one of EA's newest live service titles. You will report into the Director of Brand and will be an important contributor to developing the live service brand strategy for Skate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Brand Director collaborate with studio on season positioning, product features, content, and experiences by advocating on behalf of marketing and the player's needs
  • Kickoff the quarterly planning for seasons, starting with understanding the product, briefing partner teams on the best way to approach the season, and working with Brand Marketing on the execution of the season campaign
  • Support creative teams in briefing and driving campaign development across all seasonal content
  • Connect product and competitive marketing analysis to ensure consumer and market trends are informing seasonal brand strategies
  • Partner with consumer insights to use consumer research, industry and market trends into tangible and actionable insights

Qualifications

  • Experience with brand management, brand strategy, product marketing
  • Solid business, analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Project management and coordination across teams and external partners
  • Experience building marketing strategies and implementing tactical plans
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • Experience taking a product or service from consumer insight, to ideation, to market
  • Experience with live service games
  • Embrace working in a dynamic, flexible, ever-changing environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$111,600 - $152,800 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
