FutureWorks Studios is a leading global VFX studio known for delivering cutting-edge visual effects for films, television, and digital media. With a reputation for creativity and technical excellence, we are at the forefront of the visual effects industry.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Executive (Global) to join our team in Mumbai. This role is crucial in identifying and nurturing potential clients for our VFX services across the global entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the film and television industry, combined with strong sales and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to production houses, film studios, and streaming platforms worldwide
  • Manage and qualify inbound leads generated through our marketing efforts and industry events
  • Research and identify key decision-makers in potential client organisations
  • Engage with prospects to understand their VFX needs and present FutureWorks Studios' capabilities
  • Nurture relationships with potential clients through the initial stages of the sales funnel
  • Schedule qualified appointments for our VFX Supervisors and Production team
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities in our CRM system
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to optimize lead generation strategies for the VFX industry
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas for qualified leads and scheduled client meetings

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Film Studies, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the entertainment or technology industry
  • Understanding of the VFX production process and the global film/TV industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Experience with sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
  • High level of self-motivation and goal-oriented mindset
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work across multiple time zones

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and technologies
  • Knowledge of film festivals, markets, and industry events
  • Understanding of basic sales analytics and reporting
