As a Business Development Representative at Notion, you will be part of the EMEA Business Development team. Your primary responsibilities will include defining outbound sales motion, shaping future products, and driving business revenue, specifically in the DACH region. You will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new enterprise customers, executing outbound campaigns, and collaborating with marketing on regional initiatives. You will also maintain CRM records and help build sales playbooks. Furthermore, this role offers the opportunity to learn about the product and prepare for an Account Executive role. The role requires both German and English fluency.

Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).

About The Role:

We're looking for a motivated early career sales professional with an entrepreneurial and building spirit to join our EMEA Business Development team! As an early member of the team, you'll be instrumental in helping define our outbound sales motion, meaningfully shape our future product, and drive business revenue all while having a blast doing it!

We seek talented and ambitious Outbound BDRs who can drive high-quality outbound prospecting while managing strategic sales processes in the DACH region. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape our growing presence in German-speaking markets.

As an BDR, you will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new enterprise customers in the DACH region. We're building a team that combines a winning attitude with strategic thinking and sales excellence. You'll have the opportunity to help shape our sales processes and build pipeline to support our Account Executive team. We believe in internal growth and provide clear career paths for sales professionals to advance their careers.

What You'll Achieve:

  • Master Notion's platform and competitive landscape
  • Create and execute strategic outbound campaigns with customised and multichannel messaging for DACH market
  • Collaborate with marketing on regional campaign initiatives
  • Implement proven sales methodologies to prospect into new accounts
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in our CRM
  • Help build playbooks and define our sales motion
  • Hold ownership over pipeline generation tactics and strategic approaches
  • Learn about our product inside and out working towards an AE role where you will develop the skills to give demos customised to the needs of different personas

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • Business fluency in both English and German
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Competitive spirit and team-oriented mindset
  • Previous experience in Account Executive, Sales Development, or Business Development roles
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication skills with ability to craft tailored customer stories
  • Positive attitude with eagerness to learn from challenges and comfort with ambiguity
