For one of the largest banks we are looking for Senior Team member to help the bank to implement new technologies and speed up the delivery on various projects.
Provide the intended technical line of support for calypso application
Address and resolve client issues related to Calypso architecture, operating systems, network, JVM, and other Calypso infrastructure components.
Replicate and document client-reported issues, offer configuration recommendations to customers, and provide the Engineering team with detailed information, including test cases, to facilitate permanent solutions.
Optimize performance, including profiling Java applications and databases, as needed.
Support and mentor team members by providing guidance and knowledge sharing.
Must have
7+ years of hands-on experience in application support specializing in Calypso Application.
Good knowledge of Calypso platform
Hands on in JVM performance tuning and conduct profiling of the Calypso application
Strong abilities to analyze source code to identify the root causes of client-reported problems and report findings
Proficiency in using Eclipse IDE, with debugging expertise.
Solid foundation in OOPS principles and relational databases and SQL
Strong Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
Ensure Adherence to SLAs and customer satisfaction
Experience in Working in Agile development teams on backlog stories to develop/enhance/customize the Calypso application
Assist with strategic (bank) initiatives to develop capabilities
Nice to have
Good understanding of ITIL processes and its procedures
