Role Overview:

The Chief of Staff will serve as a pivotal collaborator to the CEO. This role demands a versatile leader capable of wearing multiple hats—ranging from strategic advisor to hands-on project manager. The successful applicant will be instrumental in guiding the company through its commercial phase while monitoring and ensuring the other functions of the company are exceeding operational targets. The role requires an entrepreneur at heart with the right progressional background or an actual entrepreneur who shares our values, ambition and excitement. 

Responsibilities:

• Act as the CEO’s trusted advisor, closely shadowing and learning all aspects of the business to provide informed support to the CEO.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of the company’s goals, ensuring alignment with market demands and business objectives.
• Facilitate communication and project alignment across departments, ensuring that strategic goals are understood and pursued company-wide.
• Drive key business initiatives, from inception to completion, while managing timelines, budgets, and project scopes.
• Oversee financial management tasks including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to enhance decision-making processes.
• Manage the preparation and execution of high-level meetings and strategic planning sessions.
• Enhance internal operations by developing processes that support business functions and improve efficiency.
• Assist in the recruitment and development of senior staff to build a team capable of meeting our strategic goals.

Requirements:

We value education and experience, not necessarily both.

• MBA, consulting background and entrepreneurs are equally attractive profiles for this position.
• Proven track record in a leadership role within a startup or fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on business development.
• Comprehensive understanding of marketing, sales, and financial management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of managing complex projects and making data-driven decisions.

• Our estimated base salary range for this position is $140,000-$160,000. The actual base salary for any offer will vary based on individual qualifications and market factors. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary for this role may be modified. In addition to salary, your compensation will include an equity package, reimbursement for health insurance costs, paid vacation time and sick leave, and retirement (401(k)) benefits.
