Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager for CIS EAEU countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan). This role is responsible for ensuring products, including medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, and food supplements, can be marketed with compliant claims and advertising, aligned with commercial strategies. You will lead local regulatory teams and serve as a key business partner, enabling new product launches and maintenance in the market with a focus on compliant and rapid market access. This includes translating operational plans, communicating regulatory issues to stakeholders, and developing mitigation strategies. The role also involves supporting a high-performing team, driving talent acquisition and retention, building relationships with regulatory authorities and trade associations, and managing compliance with company expectations. You will also support the development of strong claims and advertising within regulations, ensuring artwork compliance, dossier roll-out excellence, and proactive management of regulatory change impacts.

CIS EAEU Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager

About the role

As a CIS EAEU Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for Regulatory Affairs in CIS EAEU countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan) of CEE Export Markets incl. leading the department, budgeting and the strategic evaluation of new products and categories.

The purpose of the role is to ensure products (including medicines, medical devices, cosmetics and food supplements) can be placed on the market with optimal yet compliant claims, advertising and promotion in line with commercial plans. You will be leading the local regulatory teams and act as the key commercial business partner.

Role Responsibilities

  • Enables new products to be launched and maintained in market, with the correct alignment and compliance to regulations, proactively seeking innovative and rapid path to market.

  • Translates the operational plan in to clear deliverable for the team and regulatory service providers.

  • Communicates with key stakeholders (Marketing, Medical, Quality and Supply Chain) highlighting any regulatory issues, and develop plans to mitigate, so that we can deliver science that is robust and aligned with business needs.

  • Supports a high performing team and look for ways to improve the performance of the team by setting engaging and clear goals and objectives. Drives the identification, recruitment and retention of talent.

  • Builds relationships with regulatory service providers, Trade Associations and regulatory authorities in order to influence the environment and marketplace in line with Haleon strategies.

  • Manages compliance in line with Haleon expectations, set appropriate culture and self-audit plans and ensure key processes and ways of working are in place.

  • Supports the development of the strongest claims/advertising and promotion possible within the regulations, ensuring risk are appropriately addressed and communicated.

  • Ensures compliance of products artworks with legislation requirements.

  • Ensures excellence in dossiers roll-out.

  • Proactively manages the impact of regulatory changes on the business.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • University degree in Life science/Pharmaceutically related science (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biology, Medical Engineering).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs including medicines, medical devices, cosmetics and food supplements.

  • Understanding the environment of EAEU countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan).

  • Proven leadership experience.

  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Russian.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinking.

  • Negotiation skills - experience working with different external Regulatory Authorities.

  • Innovative thinking.
