Job Description

As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of our customers and help shape the future of businesses of all sizes use technology to connect with customers, employees and partners. You will interact with stakeholders to translate complex business and technical requirements into recommendations for scalable and cost-effective database solutions and advisory services. You will engage with technical leads and partners to lead velocity data migration and modernization to Google Cloud Platform, using Google or third-party tools and services. You will develop and implement data quality and governance procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data. You will work with customer or partner teams to troubleshoot their complex storage systems for potential performance challenges. You will take various project requirements and organize them into clear goals and objectives, and create a work breakdown structure to manage internal and external stakeholders.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
Experience with data processing software and data processing algorithms.

Good to have:

Experience in designing and performing large-scale data migrations using various tools and services.
Experience in Google Cloud Native Databases such as Cloud Spanner, Cloud BigTable, and AlloyDB.
Experience in database design principles, data modeling, and the ability to translate business requirements into efficient database structures.
Understanding of data security measures, encryption techniques, and compliance regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python and Java, and using object-role modeling tools and frameworks.
