Job Summary/Description:
KCTV5/KSMO's Creative Department is in search of a Commercial Producer. Works directly with clients and our sales department to develop and create marketing campaigns that will drive results for our clients. Serve as the primary photographer for our weekday lifestyle show, My KC Live, assisting with live show production, and on-site segment recording. Be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on production quality. Create client digital graphics for web and social sites. Must be able to carry and set up equipment (20-30lbs.) for client commercial shoots. Other duties as assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Non-linear editing experience (Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects experience is a must)
- Experience with Panasonic AJ-PX800G camera, DSLR cameras, lenses and filters
- Ability to write, light, shoot, and edit content that generates business for our clients
- Able to work independently or as part of the team when needed
- Great time management skills
- Must provide creative reel demonstrating knowledge of video production, especially Adobe Creative Suite software
- Applications without work samples or demo reel will not be considered
- Experience in innovative writing, editing, and producing branded content
- Familiarity with graphic design and layout
- Non-linear editing skills
- Advanced video production skills
- Ability to work under daily deadline pressure
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Outstanding organizational and critical thinking skills
- Microsoft Office
- Adobe Creative Cloud programs – Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator
- Avid Media Composer
- Black Magic, Panasonic, and Sony 4K Camera Systems, Panasonic HD - ENG based-cameras

- Advanced Production Lighting systems
