This is a 6-month full-time internship for a Construction Project Scheduler at the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg in Grünheide (Mark). The intern will work within the Project Control Team, supporting the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) group. Responsibilities include developing an understanding of EPC processes, utilizing Primavera P6 for scheduling low-complexity projects, proposing reporting improvements, and supporting senior planners on high-complexity projects. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in Construction Engineering or a related field, possess fluent English skills, and demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.

The internship assignment

The Project Control Team’s primary objective is to support the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) group in the design, planning, and execution of company infrastructure by providing management with critical, decision-making information that ensures projects deliver on time and on budget.

What You’ll Do

Develop a good understanding of the EPC Team internal structure and processes.
Acquire a reasonable knowledge of Primavera P6 that would allow the candidate to create, track and report on low complexity schedules.
Medium level of autonomy that would require minimal involvement from the senior planners.
Propose improvements to the existing reporting techniques and potential automatizations.

What You’ll Bring

Working toward a BS , MS or advanced degree in Construction Engineering or related field
Fluent English skills
Work and collaborate confidently with all stakeholders involved in the assigned scopes. Lead the scheduling tasks for low complexity projects/scopes.
Support the senior planners on high complexity projects.
Add value by bringing visibility over the main risks and opportunities of the assigned scopes.
Architecture/Design/Construction background.
Presentation skills required in meetings and workshops.
Ability to multi-task.
Can work independently.
Good interpersonal teamwork, communication, and negotiation skills
