Job Description

This Data Analyst role focuses on optimizing data processes, building efficient pipelines, and translating data insights into actionable business strategies. Responsibilities include ETL development using SQL, Informatica, and Spark; data profiling to assess data quality; developing real-time data integration pipelines using REST APIs; and source-to-target data mapping. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in data analyst roles, experience agreeing on API contracts, strong data profiling skills, and experience with tools like SQL, Mongo DBI, Postman, MDM, and ETL. Strong communication and presentation skills are crucial, as is experience with JIRA and Confluence. Experience in data-led customer transformation within the banking domain is highly desirable. The role involves defining data quality measures and operational models.

Must have:

10+ years Data Analyst experience
API contract agreement experience
Data profiling & mapping expertise
SQL, Mongo DBI, Postman, MDM & ETL skills
Excellent communication & presentation skills
JIRA & Confluence experience
Data-led customer transformation experience (Banking domain)
Data quality measures & operational model definition

Project description

This project aims to leverage a hybrid professional with a strong foundation in Data Analytics. The role focuses on optimizing data processes, building efficient pipelines, and translating data insights into actionable business strategies for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Engineering:

ETL Development: Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes to ensure smooth data flow from source to target systems, leveraging tools like SQL, Informatica, and Spark.

Data Profiling: Perform comprehensive data profiling to assess data quality, structure, and integrity, ensuring that the extracted data meets business needs.

Real-time Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain real-time data integration pipelines using REST APIs, ensuring real-time data availability for key business operations.

Source to Target Mapping: Work closely with the data engineering team to map data from various sources to target systems, ensuring accurate data transformations and alignment with business logic.

Skills

Must have

10 + Years of Overall experience in handling Data Analyst roles.

Experience in agreeing API contracts with consumers

Clear understanding of Data Profiling and how to drive data definitions & data mapping

Experience in documenting Feed Specs

Technical skills – SQL, Mongo DBI, Post Man, MDM & ETL

Good communication/Presentation skills (PPT & external stakeholder Management)

User stories

Creation, Capturing acceptance criteria, validating Functional Test scenarios in JIRA & experience using Confluence

Experience in leveraging Data led Customer transformation

Experience in the Banking domain

Experience in defining Data Quality Measures, Op Model & Op Model to Manage data quality exceptions

Nice to have

Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
