This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Engineer seeking their next challenge in an environment with advanced technologies, full project exposure, and the chance to collaborate closely with teams like Data Science, Insights, and Automation. With customer satisfaction as a top priority, our Data Engineering team builds robust pipelines that ensure data is collected, processed, and stored efficiently, reliably, and at scale.

Where and how you can work
This position can be based in any of our offices across Australia or New Zealand, or remotely within either country. At Entain AUS & NZ, we embrace flexibility by offering a hybrid working model, allowing employees to spend two days a week in the office to promote work-life balance and accommodate individual preferences. This role is based in Brisbane.

Your day-to-day..

• Manage, maintain, and operate Snowflake data warehousing within the agreed SLA.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT framework to drive efficiencies across data engineering pipelines.
• Liaise with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Develop data engineering best practice standards such as codes, models and processes.
• Quality check and peer review of data engineering pipelines and remediation activities.
• Support delivery of both operational (BAU) and project workstreams using Agile methodology.

You're a match if you have…

• Excellent working knowledge of Data Warehousing and ETL/ELT principles, dimensional data modelling.
• Technical skills using Snowflake databases or similar.
• Strong SQL skills in developing stored procedures, functions, etc.
• Prior working experience with one or more data visualisation tool – PowerBI, Tableau.
• Experience using the Microsoft BI stack, including SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, T-SQL.
