Job Summary
Job Description
The Data Modeler is responsible for analyzing business needs and translating them into long-term solution data models. This role involves evaluating existing data systems, collaborating with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows, and developing best practices for data coding to ensure system consistency. The Data Modeler will review modifications for cross-compatibility, implement data strategies, develop physical data models, and update/optimize local and metadata models. They will also evaluate implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency, and maintain logical and physical data models with accurate metadata. Strong knowledge in databases, cloud technologies, and Data Vault Architecture is required.
Must have:
- Analyze and translate business needs into data models.
