Job Description

The Data Security Specialist will be responsible for strengthening the company's data protection approaches. Key responsibilities include defining and improving data classification and protection methods, collaborating with teams to identify critical information, developing and implementing security policies and controls, automating tasks, and investigating systems to understand data flows and risks. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in writing policies, the ability to write scripts or code, curiosity, initiative, clear communication, and an independent, structured mindset.

Overview:

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Data Security Specialist to help us strengthen practical approaches for protecting sensitive information across the company. We need a true, experienced, and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and improve internal approaches to data classification and protection
  • Work closely with teams to identify critical information and map it to business processes
  • Develop and implement practical policies, controls, and supporting processes
  • Automate routine tasks to make security efforts more scalable and efficient
  • Investigate systems and technologies to understand data flows and risks better

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Experience writing policies and internal standards
  • Ability to write scripts or code to support automation and efficiency
  • Curiosity and initiative: willingness to dive into systems and figure things out
  • Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
