We are seeking a highly motivated Building Design Management Intern to join our factory engineering team. As an intern in this supportive role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the full design and engineering efforts for construction and infrastructure development, from concept to production.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background or educational focus in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project management. This role requires a highly organized mindset, a passion for driving multi-disciplinary projects, and a remarkable ability to bring people together to accomplish objectives. Our program schedules push the boundaries of what is physically possible, demanding extreme attention to detail, identification of real challenges, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to execute quickly with high quality.

As an intern, you will foster collaboration between Engineering disciplines, Construction, Manufacturing, and Production to align our team's goals with company priorities. You will actively work to understand the opportunities and challenges of each project, distill scattered information into clear and concise messages, and effectively document and communicate with every team member. Your efforts will focus on improving team efficiency, reducing ambiguity, and delivering collaborative solutions. What You’ll Do

· Provide crucial support in driving agile and lean project sprints as part of a complex large-scale project, ensuring smooth progress and optimal outcomes through effective coordination and facilitation.

· Collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional teams, offering valuable insights and assistance in making necessary adjustments and maintaining agile project flow.

· Act as a supportive force, actively engaging with stakeholders to address challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies for enhanced project performance.

· Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, actively promoting agile methodologies and lean practices to drive efficiency and success.

· Serve as a dependable resource, offering guidance and expertise in navigating the complexities of large-scale projects, contributing to the overall success of the team.

What You’ll Bring

· Innovative mindset and a passion for pushing the boundaries of engineering solutions in pursuit of sustainable and transformative projects.

· Currently pursuing a degree in architectural, construction, design, civil, mechanical, structural, electrical engineering, or a related field.

· Basic understanding of engineering principles across various disciplines.

· Exposure to designing manufacturing, industrial, or commercial facilities through job experience, coursework, or academic projects.

· Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

· Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to comprehend complex problems and effectively communicate ideas.

· Positive, enthusiastic, and fast learner, displaying a proactive "can-do" mindset and a genuine passion for manufacturing infrastructure.

· Adaptable and resilient, able to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

· Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with others.

· Experience in relevant software and tools used in engineering and design fields (e.g., BIM software (Navisworks), project management software (JIRA)).

· Fluent in English, German is a plus
