Kwalee seeks a DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), automate deployment (Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes), improve CI/CD pipelines, monitor system performance, implement security best practices, and identify cost-saving measures. This role involves close collaboration with various development teams to enhance infrastructure performance, efficiency, and reliability. The position is based in their Bangalore studio, requiring on-site collaboration.

As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimising our cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the security and scalability of our systems. You will work closely with the Backend, Frontend, Data, and game development teams. Together, you will enhance the performance, efficiency, and reliability of our infrastructure to support Kwalee’s products.
This is a permanent role based in our Bangalore studio, where our daily in-office collaboration fuels creativity and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Work closely with development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability.
- Implement security best practices, including user access management and data encryption.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to maximise efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot network and system issues effectively.
- Experience with performance monitoring and optimisation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
