Job Description

NVIDIA seeks a Director of Business Operations for its data center products. This role involves cross-functional leadership across product management, engineering, operations, sales, and finance. Responsibilities include aligning data center forecasts with product transitions, presenting to executives, managing product planning and launch, demand and build planning, capacity planning, inventory management, risk identification, data analysis, and supplier ecosystem development. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in relevant fields and proven success in leadership and project management within a matrixed organization.

This position is a cross-functional leadership role that spans product management, engineering, operations, sales, and finance. You’ll work closely with teams at all levels to ensure seamless product transitions and alignment on manufacturing build forecasts. You’ll also manage tactical build plans that align with financial forecasts and work across the organization to optimize performance and achieve better financial outcomes. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to align data center forecasts with product transitions, providing insight and guidance on areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Present to executive team on regular cadence, identify gaps and opportunities to optimize across the company.

  • Integrally involved in product planning, launch planning, demand planning, build planning, capacity planning, and inventory management from conception through EOL.

  • Identifies risks and problems in timely manner and drives resolution with speed and agility.

  • Capture and synthesize relevant data, lead analyses, and develop final recommendations around strategic and operational initiatives.

  • Reports on inventory levels, inventory health, supply chain progress, and other key business metrics.

  • Play an active role in the continuous development of an ecosystem of data center infrastructure suppliers, ensuring they are fully prepared to meet the evolving demands of our future product requirements.

What We Need To See:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience

  • 15+ overall years of experience with products including boards and systems. Business knowledge of chip, board and systems engineering development cycles.

  • Proven experience in operations management, supply chain management, product management, or equivalent.

  • Experience in data center infrastructure supplier management

  • 10+ years direct people management experience and demonstrated successful communications skills at executive level.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization.

  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership roles and business judgment.

  • Track record of successfully leading sophisticated projects.

  • Proven self-initiative, interpersonal skills, and flexibility to adapt to change.

The base salary range is 272,000 USD - 425,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
