Sony Pictures Animation is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team as an Episodic Pipeline Supervisor. This unique opportunity will have you working closely with both Sony Pictures Imageworks and Sony Pictures Animation to build and maintain an efficient pipeline for our episodic projects.
As the Episodic Pipeline Supervisor, you will join our Culver City software development team and be dedicated to the needs of episodic projects at Sony Pictures Animation. You will lead the animation series pipeline's design, implementation, and modification. Collaborating closely with Studio Management, Series Show Leadership, Technology, the Global VFX Supervisor, directors, VFX supervisors, and other artists crewed on episodic projects, you will define standards and techniques for pipeline processes. You will ensure the studio pipeline meets the needs of multiple projects and departments, resolve pipeline and workflow issues, standardize tools, manage software testing, and oversee workflows to reach project milestones efficiently and with high quality. You will also participate in the development of tools. Applicants must have extensive experience in animation production and be able to showcase their ability to design and implement animation workflows and pipelines.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $131,900-$176,400/year. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
