Job Title / Designation: Faculty – Game Development Unreal

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join us as Game Development Instructor with a specialized focus on Unreal game engine and multiplayer game development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in game design and development, demonstrated expertise with the Unreal game engine, and hands-on experience in developing multiplayer games.

Specific Skill Set:

· Design, develop, and deliver high-quality courses in Game Development with a focus on Unreal and multiplayer game development.

· Create and update curriculum materials, including syllab, lesson plans, assignments, and exams. Stay current with industry trends and integrate new technologies and methodologies into the curriculum.

· Provide instruction through lectures, demonstrations, hands-on labs, and projects. Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals.

· Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to enhance the overall learning experience for students and contribute to the growth of the game development program.

· Participate in student recruitment efforts, advising prospective students on the benefits of pursuing a career in game development and the opportunities available in the field.

· Engage in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching skills and stay informed about advancements in game development education.

Minimum/ Work Experience Required: 5-7 years

Annual CTC: Not a Constraint for right person

Minimum Education Requirements: Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Application, Computer Science.

Any other skill set:

a. Proven experience in developing multiplayer games, with a deep understanding of networked game architecture, server-client communication, and real-time interaction would be an added benefit

b. Photon Multiplayer experience would be great to have.

c. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in game development (e.g., C++, Blueprint).

d. Previous teaching experience at the college level is highly would be good to have.

e. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to student success.

f. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and interdisciplinary academic environment.

g. Experience with VR/AR game development would be an added advantage.

h. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN tortoise).
