Job Description
Tesla seeks a Field Service Technician (Electrician) in Croatia to maintain their Energy Storage and Supercharger networks. Responsibilities include on-site installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of energy storage and supercharging equipment. Troubleshooting, root-cause analysis (remotely and on-site), and stakeholder management are key. The role requires preventative maintenance, upgrades, and collaboration with engineering teams to prevent recurring issues. International travel may be required. The ideal candidate possesses electrical engineering experience, particularly with low- and medium-voltage systems, and a passion for renewable energy. Excellent communication, independent work ethic, and fluency in Croatian and English are essential. An EU passport or work permit is required.

As a Field Service Technician in our Energy and Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure both our Renewable Energy Storage products and our Superchargers are operating at their best. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be travelling to sites and perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Croatia. What You’ll Do- Perform all on-site technical activities: related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage and Supercharging network in Croatia and abroad when needed
- Troubleshoot and perform root - cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
- Stakeholder managment - act as the first point of contact to contractors
- Prevent recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
- Organizational tasks, like preparing, organizing, and planning your own technical activities
- Experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field
- Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
- A passion for renewable energy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
- Flexible towards travelling
- Fluency in Croatia and a good command of English
- An EU passport or work permit is needed for this position
