Job Description

The Freelance Production Coordinator will be responsible for managing daily content workflows, taking accurate notes in meetings, and ensuring timely delivery of video assets. They will collaborate with editorial, graphics, and production teams to meet client deadlines, manage timelines, and communicate with clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and technical proficiency in media asset delivery and management. The coordinator will also be involved in ingesting, sharing, and tagging sensitive AV assets.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a stellar Freelance Coordinator who is multitasking, highly organized, pays close attention to details, and is professional to join our Mirada team. You will ideally enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and be skilled at working across various internal teams.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • This is an ASAP need, so those who can start immediately will be prioritized
  • We pay our freelancers via W2 payroll only - no 1099 is allowed
  • You must live within commutable distance to Hollywood, California
  • Work starts ASAP through on or around July 11th
  • Live action experience is helpful, but post-production experience is absolutely required

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Take clear and accurate notes at all pertinent meetings; disseminates these notes promptly to all necessary parties, and acts on the notes appropriately
  • Manage daily content workflows, including downloading, organizing, and delivering video assets
  • Upload and archive large-format files.
  • Work with editorial, graphics & production teams to meet client deadlines
  • Manages work and assignments according to the master project schedule and provides accurate, daily reports to the Producer to ensure a tight delivery schedule
  • Responsible for maintaining records/files for all completed and in-progress work
  • Manage timelines and due dates
  • Client communication includes emails or phone calls regarding posted spots, requests for new materials, and handling client requests when producers are unavailable.
  • Ingesting, sharing, and tagging sensitive AV assets.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Experience with large project deliveries with multiple tags, formats, and specs.
  • Strong post-production experience preferred.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills, particularly related to media asset delivery and management.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Must be well-organized and handle multiple projects at once
  • Working long hours, especially under tight deadlines when needed
  • Must be able to handle pressure well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Works collaboratively and proactively as a problem-solver
  • 1+ year related experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required
