About the Role

At GoToFinancial, engineering is central to everything we do: bringing our ideas to life and into the lives of our users. As a Frontend Developer for the Data Platform Engineering team, you'll play an integral part in creating the best developer experience for our product engineers.

As a member of the Data Platform team, you will be at the epicenter of an amazing company, experiencing extreme growth and solving the challenges that come with scaling rapidly. You must have a strong foundation in web development, a keen eye for design, and the ability to turn user requirements into intuitive and visually appealing web application. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.

What you will do

Build and maintain the Web Application for the Data Platform Engineering team.
Write clean, concise, performant, and well-tested code that is easy for others to understand.
Implement and maintain reusable code and component libraries for future use.
Handle the containerization and deployment of Data Platform Web Application on Kubernetes.
Design and deploy data products on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Collaborate with data and business teams to understand and deliver on their requirements.

What you will need

2–5 years of experience as a frontend developer, coupled with a graduate degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Typescript.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (preferably React) and strong knowledge of responsive design principles.
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration.
Familiarity with any of the cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) and basic cloud concepts.
Basic understanding of containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong analytical skills, the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, meticulous attention to detail, self-motivation, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
