Pariah Interactive is seeking a Game Developer in India!

• 💭 Sync and strategize with teams in India and the core USA team
• 🎮 You'd be making games, digital experiences, and web applications
• 💸 Remote, contract position, with the possibility of full-time

About The Position:

As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of game mechanics, features, and systems. You will collaborate closely with our India team while synchronizing with our core team in the United States. We offer a flexible 6-month remote contract position with the potential for full-time employment.

We are currently working on an in-house video game, 1000 Deaths, as well as a number of client projects that vary in scope and medium.

Responsibilities:

• Develop game mechanics, features, and systems using C#, C++, and/or JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other team members to bring game concepts to life.
• Optimize game performance and ensure compatibility across different platforms.
• Create and maintain clear, well-structured code that adheres to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest game development trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of professional game development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, C++, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of game engines, preferably Unity and Unreal.
• Experience with VR, AR, and web development is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for gaming and a desire to create exceptional experiences.
• Is excited to meet challenges and willing to invest time into learning new things.
