About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager to support our studios and partners by leading the sales planning and execution process across all current and future game titles. In this role, you’ll collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to develop innovative sales strategies that drive revenue and grow our portfolio.

Job Description:

As a Sales Manager, you will drive sales strategies and optimize revenue across our game titles, IPs, and franchises. You’ll plan and execute sales campaigns, manage pricing and discounts, explore group-wide bundles, and identify cross-promotion opportunities.  This position offers the chance to work closely with digital storefronts and platform representatives, shaping the future of our sales approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for both back catalogue and new releases, optimizing performance on key digital storefronts (Steam, Epic, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo), with a special focus on Steam.
  • Analyze sales data and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth, making informed decisions to enhance pricing and promotional efforts.
  • Manage pricing matrices for all game titles across platforms, conducting annual reviews of regional pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design promotional campaigns that align with sales goals.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and actionable insights for senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Explore additional storefronts and platforms (GOG, Humble, Apple, Roblox, UEFN) to diversify sales strategies and reach new markets.
  • Continuously track the effectiveness of sales initiatives, adjusting strategies to optimize return on investment (ROI).

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the gaming industry with a focus on Steam sales and events as well as an excellent understanding of other relevant digital storefronts and a strong understanding of digital sales practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science or a related field or the equivalent relevant work experience
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize sales strategies for gaming products, working towards ambitious sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to extract actionable insights from sales data to inform strategy.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Self-motivated and able to balance high-level strategic work with hands-on execution of sales initiatives.
  • Passion for gaming, with a willingness to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales and marketing.
  • The ideal candidate is a Steam and console player.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English.
  • You understand that diversity is paramount to any video game success.

This is a full-time position that could be based out of one of our offices in Sweden or potentially remote/hybrid but a requirement is to be based in a European time zone. The position requires travelling.

The Coffee Stain brand now also encompasses a publishing arm (Coffee Stain Publishing), Coffee Stain North (Stockholm based studio, previously Gone North Games) and has kick started the “A Levelled Playing Field” initiative to combat gender inequality in the games industry.
