GCP Data Engineer

Revolgy is looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience in GCP and BigQuery. You'll design and implement data pipelines that drive business impact. We’re looking for someone who is not just technically skilled but also able to analyze data flows, understand business processes, and solve complex data challenges.

Location 🌍 Hybrid position open to candidates in Europe.
While most of the time you can work remotely, we occasionally meet in our office in Prague for collaboration and team-building.

What will you do? 🔧

• Build and maintain data solutions on GCP using tools like BigQuery, Datastream, Dataproc, Dataflow, and Looker.
• Analyze data flows and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Perform data profiling and data discovery to uncover insights and patterns.
• Design data models and pipelines that align with business objectives and ensure scalability.
• Tackle complex data issues and provide robust solutions that meet the company’s needs.

What we're looking for 🎯

• Must-haves:
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GCP operations.
  • Expertise in BigQuery and building data solutions in GCP.
  • GCP Professional Data Engineer certification.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Proven ability to design and implement data pipelines and data models.
• Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience with App Engine, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud Machine Learning.
  • Familiarity with Docker, GitHub/GitLab, Grafana, IAM, and Terraform.
