Job Description

Apexon is seeking Graduate Software Engineers to join their Sunderland team. Responsibilities include producing high-quality, maintainable code; supporting the design and development of complex software solutions; and collaborating effectively with client project teams. Successful candidates will possess a good understanding of Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, along with software development fundamentals and Agile methodologies. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a passion for excellence are essential. Experience with DevOps tools and React/Angular frameworks is a plus but not required.
Must have:
  • Good grounding in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
  • Understanding of software development concepts
  • Agile development environment experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • BSc in Computer Science
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Sonar, CI/CD)
  • Experience with React/Angular frameworks

We are currently looking to hire Graduate Software Engineers to join our expanding team in Sunderland. You’ll be responsible for:  
  • Producing high quality, maintainable code  
  • Supporting in the design and development of complex software solutions 
  • Partnering effectively with client project teams    
 
 
You’ll have:  
  • A good grounding in one of the following languages; Java, C#, Python or JavaScript  
  • Ability to understand and explain software development concepts and fundamentals
  • Understanding of an Agile development environment 
  • Natural self-motivation with a passion for delivering excellence
  • Great communication skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships 
  • Curiosity with an ongoing desire to develop and learn 
  • Good problem-solving skills 
  • BSc in Computer Science 
 
 
 
 
 
It would be great if you have:  
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools, e.g. Jenkins, Sonar and CI/CD principles
