Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Identify and create value propositions.
  • Focus on identifying and improving the total logistics cost for clients.
  • Align internally and work across functions to achieve goals.
  • Carry out the Sales routines for GT, HN, SV ensure to:
    • Identify structural roadblocks to win business.
    • Define concrete action plans to eliminate roadblocks.
    • Ensure execution of the plans
    • Identify key patterns on commercial behavior to maximize the business size.
    • Ensure financial expectations are met.
  • Identify main target customer segments and develop a value proposition that is suitable for these segments.
  • Carry outgrowth strategies related to main target customer segments in Colombia.
  • Create and maintain a training material repository for every product and value proposition we develop.
  • Develop a management system for the sales process of the product through a set of Commercial KPI’s.
    • Process times.
    • Win ratio %
    • Market Benchmark.
  • Evaluate special requirements from sales and perform ad-hoc Pricing in an agile manner.
  • Translate operational information into Financial-Predictive KPI’s.
  • Analyze Customer and Corridor level of Pricing (location level).
  • Integrate Intermodal Pricing Workbench tool.
  • Follow up on top accounts conversion.

We're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, International Commerce, Business administration, Logistics or similar career required.

  • 1-2 years of experience in operations, procurement, or sales in the logistics industry (Landside Transportation), preferred.

  • Preferred strengths: Creativity, leadership, organization, and process excellence, analytic, strategic thinking.

  • Software skills: Excel Advanced (mandatory). Power Bi (Preferred). PowerApps and Power Automate (Preferred).

  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.

  • Proficiency in identifying and creating value propositions.

  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain management.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and departments.
