This role will play a pivotal role in leading the eCommerce function, developing short and long-term strategies utilizing online marketplaces, digital channels, and the topps.com website. This role will set and deliver on targets across all customer digital touchpoints, build category development goals and own the P&L. In addition, you will optimize ROI via online performance marketing channels driving quality traffic to boost sales as well as the eCommerce campaign calendar. This role will report to the India GM with a dotted line reporting into the Global eCommerce function.

Responsibilities

    • Develop the eCommerce market launch plan for Topps in the Indian market
    • Working with the relevant cross-functional teams, be responsible for the sales growth and development of Topps products on the brand website and relevant online marketplaces
    • Work on setting up the operational infrastructure needed supporting the sourcing, storing and last mile fulfilment of customer orders
    • Ensure that the brand website is kept updated with engaging content and product offerings 
    • Take ownership of and optimise the ecommerce P&L with full accountability in bottom- and top-line results and reporting, including control of the Ad spend across all digital channels
    • Think creatively, strategically, to rapidly improve our ecommerce KPIs (acquisition, conversion, retention, frequency, spend and profit) 
    • Identify relevant customer segments and deliver targeted product and marketing offerings
    • Develop and manage the warehouse and stock control functions in line with business needs to aid company growth, cost and stock control, reporting and ultimately profitability
    • Develop and execute a customer satisfaction strategy across the business using in-depth knowledge of e-commerce, digital and performance marketing
    • Manage relationships with local technology vendors and agencies 
    • Manage change and communication to all business stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience

    • Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
    • Demonstrated experience in management and development of an eCommerce division or company
    • A solid grasp of analytics tools e.g., Google Analytics or similar 
    • Experience using the Magento ecommerce platform is highly desirable or similar 
    • Experience managing a team as well as external contributors
    • A sound practical understanding of digital marketing for B2C
    • Hands-on, highly organised and able to prioritise to hit deadlines
    • Demonstration of managing multiple product pipelines of varying sizes simultaneously
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, confident talking with technical and non-technical stakeholders
