Job Summary

This position primarily paints assemblies that are either typical or custom parts. This position may also perform other production activities, including but not limited to, supporting the production team by helping in other departments when a need is present, as well as cleaning and maintaining equipment and the shop floor.

Duties/responsibilities

• Paint parts in a manner that maximizes output while staying within mil specs;
• Clean and prep parts prior to paint;
• Occasional sandblasting as needed;
• Operate overhead crane with chains, hooks, straps, or other lifting devices in a safe manner;
• Occasional climbing or crawling on various structures;
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
