We are seeking a passionate and experienced CG Instructor to teach 3D modeling and animation in Kuala Lumpur. Ideal candidates will possess strong 3D modeling skills using software like Blender and ZBrush, knowledge of texturing and lighting, and experience with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated instructor to join the Xsolla Curine Academy team in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves preparing and delivering on-campus lectures, as well as evaluating student assignments. We seek a responsible and proactive professional who can inspire and mentor students throughout their educational journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lecture Preparation and Delivery: Prepare and deliver lectures and practical sessions in English based on the course curriculum. Incorporate current trends into teaching materials.
Material and Assignment Development: Develop course materials, including lecture notes, presentations, and assignments. Design practical assignments and projects to reinforce learning objectives.
Student Engagement: Mentor and support students to enhance their skills. Encourage participation and collaboration during classes.
Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student assignments and projects, providing timely feedback.

REQUIREMENTS

Academic Drawing Skills: Experience creating realistic and stylized drawings, including anatomy and perspective.
3D Modeling Proficiency: Experience with 3D modeling software such as Blender and ZBrush. Knowledge of working with Unity or Unreal Engine and non-stock render engines is an advantage.
Knowledge of Texturing and Lighting: Ability to create textures and adjust lighting for a realistic look in 3D models. Experience with Marmoset, Substance Painter, and RizomUV.
Experience with Game Engines: Knowledge of integrating 3D models into game environments using Unity or Unreal Engine. Participation in team game development and knowledge of Photoshop.
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively express ideas and interact with other team members to achieve common goals.
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English, as the teaching process will be conducted in English.
Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience is a significant bonus.
