Roles & Responsibilities
- Daily Operation – Documentation Handling:
- Assist FC Liaise with logistics service providers and customers to ensure on time deliveries.
- Manage shipping documentation for accuracy and the timely release of invoices from the customer.
- Maintain monitoring dashboard for all shipments processed to keep good tracking in the volume of activities.
- Help control on billing matters with logistics service providers to reduce the delay of payment processing to logistics service providers.
- Vendor Management:
- Assist and Manage and monitor performance of logistics service providers to ensure on time delivery of shipments.
- Participate in vendor performance review to ensure vendor adherence to committed lead time.
- Support insurance claim which arises from logistics service providers or internal trucking to ensure maximum recovery on losses.
- Work jointly with logistics service providers as well as Management Team on transport plan deployment to minimize transition difficulties during implementation.
- Customer Management:
- Liaise with internal and external customers on transportation matters to ensure smooth operations.
- Improve service level by identifying optimization of processes and procedures.
- Freight Invoice Management:
- Receive weekly/monthly manual invoices from logistics service providers.
- Manual freight audit.
- Submit payment approval.
