The Portfolio / Project Manager will oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of projects. Responsibilities include strategic planning to achieve business objectives, coordinating projects, monitoring progress and budgets, providing updates to stakeholders, maintaining effective communication, fostering a collaborative team environment, evaluating project proposals, managing risks, and promoting continuous improvement in project management. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to drive project success and deliver value to stakeholders.
Must have:
- 3-5 years of experience in IT project and portfolio management
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software
Good to have:
- PMP or similar certification is a plus

Job Summary: The Portfolio / Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to drive project success and deliver value to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic portfolio plans to achieve business objectives.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate the planning and initiation of projects at various stages of completion.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor progress, budgets, and schedules of projects within the portfolio. Provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Evaluation & Decision Making: Develop criteria for evaluating project proposals and making portfolio decisions. Create rules and procedures for portfolio management.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the portfolio. Implement strategies to address potential issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement in project management practices and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT project sand portfolio management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects and portfolios.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
