About the job

Job Responsibilities

  • 1 - 3 years Experience working as a Game Engineer or equivalent at a gaming company
  • Work with other teams across domains outside of programming to deliver projects on time
  • Architect and develop project features from start to finish, leveraging your expertise in cocos
  • Help estimate and plan work cycles with the programming team
  • Show enthusiasm for the project and contribute to its future direction.
  • Build with scalability, maintainability, and reusability in mind.
  • Write code that adheres to top practices with a focus on quality.
  • Conduct routine code assessments and uphold coding standards of the programming team.
  • Share your insight with other programming team members.

    • Skills Required

  • Hands-on experience in cocos in a professional capacity
  • Strong foundation in javascript, typescript
  • Great understanding of 2d-math, 3d-math, direct-x, open-gl, perforce, jira, trello, navmesh
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms.
  • Proficient programming skills coupled with a dedication to writing clean code.
  • You've been involved in impressive and impactful cocos projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Dedicated to both playing and crafting top-tier video game experiences
  • Candidates should possess advanced skills in version control (e.g., Git with Gitflow practices) and CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins) to streamline development processes effectively.
