idealo maintains direct business relationships with almost the entire e-commerce market, from international platforms like Amazon and eBay to specialized retailers. For our retail partners, we are one of the central sources for traffic, customer contacts, and online sales. At the same time, they offer our end customers an immense database of billions of current prices that make up our price comparison. We are looking for a dedicated personality to further strengthen our B2B product area. You will build long-term, trusting relationships with key retail partners, analyze their needs, and develop targeted strategies and product solutions. You will be responsible for revenue and margins, conduct contract negotiations, and actively shape the product range on idealo.
Must have:
  • Several years of experience in (Key) Account Management or solution-oriented sales, ideally in e-commerce or a digital business model.
  • Sound knowledge of online retail and a good understanding of KPIs like CPC, CVR, and KUR, as well as economic contexts in the digital market.
  • Analytical thinking and routine work with data and reports to derive valuable insights and creative ideas.
  • Team player who actively supports colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Independent project management, structured, solution- and results-oriented work.
  • Persuasive and confident communication and negotiation skills in both German and English, confident appearance at all decision-making levels.

  • Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.

We are looking for a dedicated personality to further strengthen our B2B product area.

Your tasks

  • You build long-term, trusting relationships with our most important retail partners and establish yourself as the central contact person.
  • In the role of interface between idealo and our top accounts, you work closely with various stakeholders and develop individual strategies, product solutions, and projects.
  • You analyze the needs, structures, and goals of your partner companies and develop targeted cooperation measures from them.
  • You are responsible for the revenue and margin of your accounts. You conduct regular contract negotiations and define the framework conditions for cooperation.
  • You actively shape the product range on idealo and identify potential for product range expansion early on.
  • Based on defined KPIs, you continuously analyze the performance of your accounts and develop concrete optimization recommendations.
  • You implement strategically relevant projects together with your retail partners and provide operational support.

What you bring

  • You have several years of experience in (Key) Account Management or solution-oriented sales, ideally in e-commerce or a digital business model.
  • You have sound knowledge of online retail and a good understanding of KPIs such as CPC, CVR, and KUR, as well as economic contexts in the digital market.
  • Analytical thinking is a matter of course for you. You are proficient in working with data and reports and derive valuable insights and creative ideas from them.
  • Teamwork is a matter of course for you. You actively support colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • You manage projects independently, work in a structured manner, and pursue a solution- and results-oriented approach.
  • Ideally, you have experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.
  • You communicate persuasively and confidently – both in German and English – and appear confident at all decision-making levels.
