Basic Qualifications
- Experience in leading product development team focused on data products deliverables
- Experience in working with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning
- Experience in leading agile deliverables
- Knowledge of data science and data engineering technologies, architecture, and processes. Specifically, services on Azure, Devops/MLOps and common third-party integration and orchestration tools.
- Good knowledge of any Cloud eco system Azure, AWS.
- Good knowledge of Big Data Ecosystem - Hive, Spark, Databricks, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka.
- Experience building large scale data processing ecosystems with real time and batch style data as input using big data technologies. Able to conceptualize and able to implement the data stream ecosystems and drive requirements.
- Experience in any programming language like Scala or Python.
- Knowledge of Data Quality standards and Data Governance Solutions.
- Knowledge around technical architecture, including metadata, Rest API Integrations, Data API and Solution design of NoSQL and File systems.
- Experience in building CI/CD process and devops practices.
- Willingness and ability to invest in engineering growth
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across a diverse group of technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Drive data product roadmap with a focus on delivering a suite of data products, leveraging data from across Maersk platforms to ultimately influence what the customer does
- Lead discovery work around a minimum viable product (MVP) for any new data intelligence product, collaborating with user experience (UX) and engineering teams to prototype and validate an MVP
- Expectation is to be hands on and be able to allocate task to self and execute.
- The Delivery Lead will partner to build secure, scalable APIs, interfaces, and web portal that allow for well-managed data access across the full organization. This involves working with architecture and technical leads for systems to allow for both legacy and modern interoperability in both a push (pub/sub) and pull method. It also includes standardizing a web portal interface allowing for access to the data and tools for a wide range of user archetypes from technical to analysts.
- Collaborate with Lead Architect and engineering teams to prevent overlapping work and coordinate on interoperability requirements.
- Work with product engineering teams across GDA and Platforms to ensure a consistent software ecosystem.
- The Delivery Lead is responsible for the overall leadership and driving the backlog while being accountable for design and development of the complex interoperability challenges across multiple systems.
