Your Crew
Join the co-development team for Welcome to Bloxburg, collaborating with Coffee Stain Gothenburg. You’ll work closely with programmers and producers to create exciting new experiences for players in the city of Bloxburg.
Your Mission
- Write, review, and update game design documentation, including core gameplay, interaction design, user interfaces, and game economy
- Champion communication within the Fishlabs team and with Coffee Stain Gothenburg
- Define and own a content vision and ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the team by modifying code and scripts to enhance the player experience
- Adapt to evolving production or design needs and cooperate to find effective solutions
- Ensure quality by working with QA to debug and improve scripts
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure content meets established design goals
- Share your work, knowledge, progress, and risks openly with the team
Your Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience designing, documenting, and implementing game systems and mechanics from concept to completion
- Excellent grasp of core design principles (Core Loop Design, Systems Design, Economy Design)
- Experience designing interaction spaces, including mini-games and puzzles
- Experience with LUA or other high-level scripting languages is highly desirable
- Strong leadership and communication skills; emotional and social intelligence are highly valued
- Solid understanding of development lifecycles
- Excellent spoken and written English skills required
- Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback

- A portfolio is desirable, but not required for this position. You may be tested for suitability.
- If submitting a portfolio, please provide a detailed breakdown of your work and clarify what you were responsible for.
