Saviynt is hiring smart and passionate individuals interested in writing and technology to
join our Product Documentation team. The Lead Technical Writer plays a critical role in writing and presenting Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts clearly and concisely for on-prem and cloud-based enterprise-grade.
WHAT YOU BRING
10-15 years of relevant technical writing experience
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/English Literature/Engineering
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer orientation
Ability to quickly understand IAM concepts and present them as easily comprehensible structured documents
Possess strong problem-solving and project leadership skills to effectively track and manage documentation assignments in a deadline-driven environment
Knowledge of the documentation process, including writing, editing, graphics, production, Help authoring, and information design
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Experience with single-sourcing tools (such as MadCap Flare), Postman, Jira, and Confluence
Flexible in terms of work hours to meet business objectives
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Collaborate with product managers, knowledge engineers, developers, and quality engineers to understand the product and develop high-quality documentation.
Learn the product functionality through interviews with subject matter experts, personal use, and experimentation.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of current trends in technical communication.
Develop product documentation, including online help, integration guides, REST API guides, tutorials, and release notes for different audience groups.
Document solution-oriented use cases and scenarios for features that help customers better understand the product.
Work with team members to complete projects and assigned tasks within the required timelines.
Review documentation for structure, content, technical accuracy, and style.
Analyze customer feedback on the use of documentation and prepare, deliver, and follow up with improvements.
Guide and mentor junior writers.
Propose initiatives/innovative documentation strategies to improve documentation processes, standards, and quality.
Desired Skills and Experience
Accomplishments in technical writing, such as awards/achievements an added advantage
Experience in using Agile methodologies
Knowledge of IAM and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) concepts
Experience with any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
