Responsibilities

Perform Life Cycle Assessments & Develop Carbon Footprint Claims

  • Use life cycle assessment methods, including performing product life cycle assessments (LCAs), to develop an understanding of the impacts of company`s processes, extending to use of services by external customers.
  • Work with all team members to demonstrate the environmental benefits of their design solutions to internal/external stakeholders and enable improvement initiatives.
  • Perform LCA as per requirements of Green Building & Net Zero Certifications including LEED, GRIHA, IGBC etc.
  • Work with concerned entities to capture the data required for carrying out LCAs.
  • Develop LCA-related product/project sustainability claims and drive projects through execution.
  • Develop decarbonisation/carbon emission reduction strategies for projects and clients' organisations.
  • Perform GHG emission calculations for Scope 1, 2 & 3.
  • Interact with customers and support their requests for projects carbon footprint information.

Data Analysis, Guidance & Implementation

  • Identify and assist in research and evaluation of potential sustainability efforts for feasibility and impact against corporate goals of clients.
  • Research on the relevant codes, standards and National/ International policies on carbon emissions and/or decarbonisation.
  • Gather, compile, analyze, prepare, and summarize data for LCA and complex sustainability and environmental projects.
  • Formulate and conduct studies to define performance plans for short and long-term goals.
  • Provide decision support by data modeling, including financial aspects through life cycle costing.
  • Provide insightful competitive analysis and visualization that drives decision making.
  • Distill complex data into actionable insights to inform all stages of product design
  • Exercise judgment to determine appropriate course of action and prepare recommendations based on sound data analysis. Provide risk analysis for contingency planning.
  • Engage in roadmap creation and drive the implementation of sustainability strategy and initiatives, in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide insight and support regarding green/sustainable attributes and standards for the projects.
  • Complete competitive intelligence monitoring on green product attributes and market trends, particularly environmental science and tech research and advancement or changes by competitors.
  • Monitor the various programs associated with carbon emission reduction criteria and standards, their requirements while ensuring appropriate implementation.
  • Understand global regulations and emerging expectations across ESG, SBTi while understanding the potential impact those expectations and requirements may have on the service offerings to the customers.
