Job Description

Within the Industrial Units Department of Veolia Région SUD PACA's Recycling and Waste Recovery (RVD) Activity, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician. Based in Antibes at our Energy Recovery Unit (UVE), you will manage continuous improvement, liaise with departments, and ensure proper equipment operation and safety. Your duties include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parameter setting, and participating in maintenance planning and optimization.
Must have:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
  • Conduct maintenance rounds and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Diagnose and repair installation equipment.
  • Execute preventive maintenance plans and report operational data.
  • Participate in CMMS maintenance plan development and technical shutdown planning.
  • Apply safety procedures and ensure workplace safety.
  • Hold a BTS maintenance degree or equivalent.
  • Possess up-to-date electrical certifications (B2V, BR, BC, H0, H1V).
  • Proficient in CMMS (GMAO) and SI Traitement software.
  • Mandatory Category B driving license and personal vehicle.

Job Description

Within the Industrial Units Department of the Recycling and Waste Recovery (RVD) Activity of Veolia Région SUD PACA, we are looking for a professional.

At our Energy Recovery Unit (UVE) and under the authority of the Maintenance Manager, you will manage the continuous improvement of the UVE and liaise with all UVE departments while ensuring the proper operation of equipment and safety devices.

Your missions:

  • Ensure preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment on site
  • Perform maintenance rounds to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment and remedy localized problems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot installation equipment
  • Perform parameter settings and report operational data to your hierarchy
  • Rigorously execute the preventive maintenance plan
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of maintenance plans (CMMS) and the planning of technical shutdowns
  • Participate in the optimization of processes and equipment
  • Propose technical solutions to improve equipment reliability
  • Diagnose and estimate the work to be carried out
  • Inform your hierarchy of the status of verified equipment
  • Participate in achieving site objectives and continuous site improvement
  • Be on call (if applicable)
  • Carry out technical shutdowns of the installation
  • Apply safety instructions and procedures in accordance with operating guides
  • Ensure cleanliness, good condition of tools, and safety in the workplace.

Qualifications

With a BTS maintenance degree or equivalent, you have initial experience in a similar position.

Your electrical certifications (B2V - BR - BC - H0 - H1V) are up to date.

You know how to use CMMS (GMAO) and SI Traitement.

Category B driving license and vehicle mandatory
