This role involves managing a portfolio of clients in the Assurance division at PwC, focusing on attest engagements and special projects. Responsibilities include business development, client relationship building, staff management (including coaching and development), risk management, cost monitoring, and contributing to office management. The Manager will uphold professional standards, ensure compliance with PwC's audit methodology, and lead the team in delivering high-quality audits, obtaining reasonable assurance about the accuracy of financial statements. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise in auditing (IFRS), and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining client relationships and developing staff.

At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team member’s unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same.

Main purpose:

To manage client portfolios, maintain sound client relationships and manage the audit team, including the coaching and development of staff in the Assurance division.
