The Manager, Social Strategy Marketing Partnerships - EMEA at Netflix will develop and execute social media strategies for key brand partners. Responsibilities include creating editorial calendars, distribution strategies, and CTAs, while adhering to Netflix's brand guidelines and target audience needs. This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including social creative agencies, to ensure campaigns align with business priorities and achieve high-quality execution. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in social media strategy, brand partnerships, and editorial content creation. A deep understanding of various social platforms, multi-channel distribution, and cultural nuances across EMEA markets (particularly UK, France, Italy, Spain, and Germany) is crucial. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

About the Team 

The Marketing Partnerships Creative team collaborates with external brands and agency/production partners as well as internal cross-functional teams to create compelling campaigns, activations, sponsorships, and other innovative solutions. This team is tasked with ensuring partnership programs are rooted in a compelling strategy, crafted at the highest quality, and executed flawlessly. About the Role

If you are a skilled social media expert who feels passionately about bringing brand strategy to life in creative ways, then keep reading! We’re looking for a Manager, Social Strategy Marketing Partnerships EMEA,  to enhance our Marketing Partnerships Creative team and develop social strategies & editorial brand campaigns for key brand partners, woven into bespoke activations on owned social channels. 

The right fit should have a social background,  brand partnership experience, and excellent editorial judgment to balance the needs of our business with how to reach the right audience with the right branded content, in a unique Netflix way. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop bespoke social media strategies & packages for brand partners, inclusive of editorial calendar, distribution strategy and CTA / product positioning, with considerations for Netflix channels TOV, branded content guidelines and restrictions on owned/earned social, target audience, and overall campaign goals. 

  • Build social integration opportunities for brands that feel authentic to our channels and Netflix voice, in line with the editorial quality of our channels.

  • Provide creative briefing, guidance and creative feedback to social creative agencies across markets. Manage the retainer with the local/regional agencies where and if applicable, aligned with the local social leads.

  • Coordinate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to share social insights and data reporting by campaign for future learnings and improvement areas.

  • Work closely with the EMEA Brand Partnership leadership team, and  Brand Partnerships local leads  to understand the full spectrum of their priorities and initiatives, and cascade that information back to local social teams for better alignment.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in a social strategy role, either agency, or brand side.

  • Experience working on broad, multiple-platform, multi-market regional brand campaigns and supporting the delivery of nuanced, insight-based social strategies and creative executions.

  • Fluency in English is necessary, and additionally fluency in French and/or Spanish will be highly valued, as well as an understanding of the local nuances in culture and social media trends of the main countries in which we operate (UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany).

  • Proven track-record in successfully ideating and executing social-forward branded content campaigns.

  • Deep knowledge of what works across various social platforms and experience in multi-channel distribution efforts.
