The Manual SQA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications by designing and executing manual test cases. This includes reviewing requirements, designing and executing test cases, performing various types of testing (functional, regression, etc.), reporting and managing defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution, and providing feedback on software design. The role involves end-to-end testing, including UI, usability, and compatibility testing. The candidate will also participate in meetings and ensure adherence to QA processes.
Must have:

  • Report and manage defects using issue-tracking tools.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual SQA Engineer with 5-8 years of experience, preferably in the banking or financial domain, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications by designing and executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. This is a full-time position, and we are looking for candidates who can join in less than one month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to understand the testing requirements.

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on product requirements and specifications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing of applications within the banking/financial domain.

• Report, track, and manage defects using issue-tracking tools.

• Collaborate with development teams to discuss defects and ensure timely resolution.

• Perform end-to-end testing, including UI, usability, and compatibility testing.

• Provide feedback on software design and user experience to enhance product quality.

• Perform risk-based testing and prioritize testing based on project timelines.

• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.

• Ensure adherence to test strategies and QA processes.

• Continuously identify and propose improvements to testing processes and procedures.
