Experience:
- 3-9 years’ experience in software testing.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
- Experience in writing and executing detailed test cases and test plans.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze Functional Requirements: Review and understand functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Create Test Cases: Develop detailed, structured test cases aligned with application requirements.
- Execute Test Cases: Perform thorough testing of applications, meticulously identifying and documenting defects.
- Defect Reporting: Log defects in JIRA or similar defect tracking systems, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues promptly.
- Attend Agile Meetings: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
