Fluence is seeking a Market Analyst who will report directly to the Vice President of Strategic Growth - Americas. This role involves providing key analytical support for our growth strategies for energy storage in the Americas. The ideal candidate should have experience in renewable energy markets, strong analytical skills, excellent modelling and data handling skills, and a keen interest in market dynamics and trends.
What does a Market Analyst - Strategic Growth do at Fluence?
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments to provide timely insights for strategic decision-making.
- Collect and analyze market data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the energy storage sector.
- Utilize data analytics tools to create comprehensive reports and presentations for the management team.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and interpret market intelligence, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Support the VP of Strategic Growth in developing and refining growth strategies through insightful data analysis.
- Communicate findings and insights to the VP of Strategic Growth and other stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Assist in the design and execution of market analysis, both qualitative and quantitative.
What does the ideal candidate look like?
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in market analysis in the renewable energy sector, preferably with a market research firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- Excellent modelling abilities and mastery of Excel.
- Experience in financial modeling/Excel based Discounted Cash Flow Modeling.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, synthesize, and summarize complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A team player with a global mindset.
