What is the opportunity?:

This Role Will Be Responsible For The Below

  • Looking for candidates with 3-18 years of experience in automation and functional testing.
  • First 2 Months: Understanding the product architecture, automation frameworks/tools, and release process. Enhancing the automation framework and automation of functional tests.
  • Expertise in Virtualization, OS administration and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and PowerShell.
  • Design, implementation, and delivery of scalable, maintainable, configurable and robust CI/CD Jenkins Pipelines, API, CLI, or UI automation frameworks.
  • Understand the entire system, including hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
  • Functional automation of diverse system elements such as servers, operating systems, network and storage devices.
  • Automation of Horizon products across on-premises and Cloud product lines.
  • Lead engineering initiatives, fostering a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure, automation framework/tools (like TestNG, Appium, Git, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes, XCTest, UI Automator, WinAppDriver and Mac2Driver).
  • Strong understanding of Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems, and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficiency with application validation on Mobile and Cross platforms.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and continuous benchmarking.
  • Collaboratively work with other functional teams, Architects, Product Managers, and Business stakeholders to identify technical and functional needs.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD Jenkins Pipelines, API, CLI, or UI automation frameworks.
  • Automate product deployments and functional scenarios using Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Java and JavaScript.
  • Deploy test infrastructure on vSphere, AWS, and Azure platforms.
  • Identify new areas of improvement for products, tools, and processes.
  • Participate in automation code reviews to ensure quality, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Engage in regular communication with cross-functional teams to ensure product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Location: Bengaluru / Chennai

Location Type: HYBRID.

This role offers a balanced arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week in our local office and the flexibility to work from home for the remaining days. It is essential that you reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office location for the in-office workdays.

Travel Expectations: 20% of travel Domestic/International only if business demands.
