About the job:
As a Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for a wide range of open cut mine engineering tasks, including mine design, scheduling, drill and blast, understanding geology, and other related mining support services. You will work with a team of experts to develop innovative solutions to complex problems and define critical value drivers (cost and revenue) for the operation. You will also be responsible for managing risk in mine design and communicating effectively with technical personnel. This role requires strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as effective customer facing skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally. Knowledge of mine planning software, design and scheduling best practice tools and methodologies, and cost awareness are also essential.
Must have:
  • 5 to 8 years' experience in open cut Mine Engineering
  • Practical experience with mine design, scheduling, drill and blast
  • Understanding of geology and other related mining support services
  • Innovative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to define critical value drivers (cost and revenue)
  • Effective communication with Technical Personnel

About The Role

In this role, Technical Skills

Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in broad range of open cut Mine Engineering preferably open cut coal. Practical experience with mine design,

, scheduling, drill and blast, understanding geology, and other related mining support services.
