Project description
We need Mobile Engineer for Investment Bank client
Responsibilities
Software programming using Q/KDB backend and UI development using Delta Stream Dash board builder.
Perform data analysis and apply ML/AI based libraries for innovative solutions to the requirements / problems in Market Abuse Surveillance
This role will work closely with business analysts and trade surveillance users
Provide effort estimates of based on requirements to project managers
Adhere to best practices, coding standards
Keep the specification documentation updated and version controlled in Share point
Skills
Must have
6+ years of professional experience in mobile platform or system integration, preferably with Android or iOS ecosystems.
Solid understanding of Swift and/or Kotlin, with the ability to read, debug, and integrate mobile application code.
Experience working with iOS/Android frameworks and SDKs to enable feature integration, testing, and performance validation.
Strong knowledge of iOS and Android operating systems, and familiarity with standard or third-party libraries used in mobile development.
Experience supporting or integrating mobile apps that have been published to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store is a plus.
Proficient in using Git for version control in collaborative development or integration environments.
Experience creating and maintaining system-level or end-to-end integration tests, and familiarity with unit/UI testing methodologies.
Working knowledge of backend systems and APIs (e.g., REST, JSON, SQL/NoSQL) for validating integration points and data flows.
Skilled in diagnosing issues, collecting logs (e.g., ADB, Logcat, Xcode Instruments), prototyping fixes, and collaborating with development teams.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including participation in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews
Knowledge of creating or integrating reusable modules, SDKs, or frameworks is a plus.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills; respectful, collaborative, and willing to help across teams.
