Project description

Mission / Main focus:
• Coordinate and lead Murex test processes to ensure that Murex projects achieve their delivery quality objectives within time, cost and risks constraints. Strong focus on automation with
MXtest (Murex proprietary automation tool for MX.3).
• Contribute to MXtest product evolution.
• Support internal and external Clients on MXtest tool

Responsibilities

Main activities to be performed:

Support identification and definition of test coverage based on project requirements

Contribute to design of functional and non-functional test cases in line with target coverage

Ensure test cases are well designed and documented in accordance with the test strategy.

Build and maintain efficient and effective test suites by automating test scenarios following the testing standards and automation best practices.

Ensure availability of the testware before a test execution phase (test cases, test data, test

environment, test tools,...)

Execute automated test cases, logs results and provide summary reports during the test execution phases in projects.

Perform first level analysis when faced with an incident, track incident and follow

resolution with corresponding stakeholders.

Train and coach other streams on testing objectives, tools, and best practices.

Contribute to the test closure activities by providing feedback, capitalizing test packages and

documentations.

Contributes to test practice activities and knowledge sharing through knowledge base,

collaboration, training, and communities of practice.

Develop technical and financial expertise on Murex product solutions through assignments and other learning opportunities.

Interactions / Collaboration

Usually works under supervision of Test Lead or Project Manager

Oversee the activity of junior Test Engineers, provide guidance and support to them

Collaborate with Project team to define and execute Murex test strategy

Collaborate with Client to train, support and advise on automation strategy

Collaborate with MXtest Product team to contribute to the evolution and corrective

maintenance of MXtest tool.

Skills

Must have

University degree in Computer science, computer engineering, mechatronics or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience

Sound knowledge on Unix/Linux shell, or other programming language, and SQL

Experience on MXtest/MX.3 is mandatory

Good communication skills

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Teamwork and cross group collaboration

Nice to have

ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
